Honeywell aerospace map display for real flight tests.

Testing a flying system produces a stream of data that engineers have to read while the aircraft is in the air. Trajectories, positions and flight information are only useful when they are visible in context, on a map, as they happen.

Honeywell needed a custom map display interface for testing its flying systems. General mapping tools are built for navigation or logistics, not for flight test work where the display is part of the test setup. In aerospace, a display that lags or misleads the operator is not a cosmetic bug.

The display was tested on a real crewed drone for Vertical Aerospace. Not a simulator, not a demo dataset: live flight data from an aircraft carrying people.
