How Crowie s.r.o. processes personal data on crowie.io, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data needed for the purposes below.

  • Contact form: name, email, company (optional), project type, budget, message.
  • Email correspondence: the content of emails you send us and our replies, including your email address and any details you share.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent (browser and device), requested URL and timestamps, recorded by our servers.
  • Analytics data: pages visited, interactions, approximate location and device information, collected only if you give consent.
  • Chat widget: messages you send through the Namiru.ai chat widget and the session data needed to deliver the conversation.

We process personal data for these purposes, each with its legal basis under Art. 6(1) GDPR:

  • Answering inquiries and preparing a roadmap or offer (contact form, email, chat): Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Security and operation of the website (technical logs): Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse and keeping it running.
  • Analytics and marketing (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, Microsoft Clarity via Google Tag Manager): Art. 6(1)(a), your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to Crowie and to processors who help us run the website, bound by data processing terms:

  • Hosting: our own servers in data centers in Germany (EU).
  • Email provider: Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited), which delivers contact form submissions and email correspondence to patrik.kelemen@crowie.io.
  • Google: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, only with your consent.
  • Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity, only with your consent.
  • Namiru.ai: the chat widget. Namiru.ai is our own product.

5. International transfers

We host the website and handle inquiries within the EU. If you consent to analytics or marketing, Google and Microsoft may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified. Without your consent, no data is sent to these providers.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary:

  • Contact inquiries and related correspondence: 24 months from the last contact, unless a contract follows, in which case we keep them for the contract term and statutory periods.
  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics 4 keeps event data for up to 14 months; Microsoft Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days and aggregated reports for up to 13 months.
  • Consent record: 12 months, after which we ask again.
  • Chat conversations: 24 months from the last message, like other inquiries, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data (Art. 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing before withdrawal (Art. 7(3)); change your choice on the cookies page
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, dataprotection.gov.sk

8. Security

We protect personal data with technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted to authorized persons, hardened and regularly patched servers, and backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we design ours to minimize risk.
