Mobile app development for iOS and Android from one codebase.
Cross-platform mobile apps in React Native or Ionic and Angular, built by engineers who maintained an app used by hundreds of thousands while shipping its successor.
Mobile apps
Most businesses do not need two native teams writing the same app twice. They need one well-engineered codebase that runs on iOS and Android, feels right on both, and stays maintainable for years. That is what we build, with React Native or a hybrid Ionic and Angular stack depending on your product and your existing web code.
We have done this at scale. For Rocket Lawyer we maintained an Ionic app used by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide while developing its new React Native successor. You talk directly to the engineers who did that work.
React Native and hybrid mobile app development
React Native renders native UI components and suits consumer apps where feel and on-device performance matter most. Ionic with Angular shares code and skills with your web application, which cuts cost when you already run an Angular frontend. We recommend one based on your product, not on what we happen to prefer.
For Asora, a wealth management platform, we built the hybrid mobile app with Ionic and Angular alongside most of the web frontend, so both share logic and design decisions.
- One codebase for iOS and Android
- Native modules where the platform requires them
- Push notifications, deep links, biometrics, offline storage
- App Store and Google Play release management
Real-time calling, media and complex device features
Some apps do more than show data. For CloudTalk, a cloud telephony company, we helped build a hybrid mobile app with SIP.js and WebRTC so users can make and receive calls on the go. Voice, audio routing, background behavior and unreliable mobile networks all have to work together.
We bring the same care to camera, location, file handling and secure storage. Features are tested on real devices, not only on simulators, because that is where the edge cases live.
Maintaining a live app while building its successor
Rewrites fail when the old app is neglected during the move. At Rocket Lawyer we kept the existing Ionic app stable for its large user base while the React Native version was built. Releases continued, bugs were fixed, and users were not left waiting for the new app.
If you have an aging app, we audit it first, then recommend the cheapest safe path: refactor, incremental migration or a new build. Backends and APIs for the app can run on our own EU hardware, and the web counterpart can be built by the same team as a custom web application.
How we
work.
- // 01
Free roadmap in 24 hours
We look at features, platforms, integrations and existing code. You get a cost breakdown, a timeline projection and a recommendation between React Native and hybrid.
- // 02
Prototype the key flows
Core screens are designed and clickable early, so you can test navigation and decisions with real users before full development.
- // 03
Milestones and weekly builds
Development runs on fixed scope or milestones. Each week you install a fresh test build on your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks.
- // 04
Store release
We prepare store listings, handle review feedback from Apple and Google, and set up crash reporting and consent-based analytics.
- // 05
Maintenance and OS updates
iOS and Android change every year. We keep the app compatible, secure and moving forward with new features.
Proof, not
promises.
