THE PROBLEM

Capital market trading inside a bank is dense, time-sensitive work. Employees move between instruments, orders and positions all day, and every unclear screen or extra click slows them down.

ČSOB needed a sophisticated trading application for its employees. The frontend had to carry complex workflows and run as a dependable tool on bank workstations, inside the constraints of a regulated environment.

WHAT WE BUILT

Working with Capgemini, we led frontend development of the application. It is built in Angular and packaged with Electron, which gives bank employees a desktop application while the codebase stays modern web technology.

Electron was a natural fit. A trading tool stays open on the desktop all day, and Electron desktop app development gives it that presence without giving up the speed of Angular development. The frontend work itself is core to our enterprise web application development practice.

Beyond this application, we also led frontend development on other banking-sector projects delivered together with Capgemini.
